Refund Policy

How refunds work for subscriptions and credit purchases on The Musical Road.

1. Overview

This Refund Policy explains when and how you can obtain a refund for payments made on The Musical Road (the "Service"). It forms part of our Terms of Service and should be read together with them, our Privacy Policy and GDPR Compliance page. All payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe, and any refund is returned to your original payment method through Stripe.

The Service is a digital product delivered immediately. This Policy does not limit any non-waivable statutory rights you may have as a consumer under applicable law.

2. Subscriptions

Paid plans (Starter, Pro and Agency) are billed in advance for each billing period.

  • 14-day first-subscription refund: if you are dissatisfied within 14 days of your very first paid subscription charge, you may request a full refund of that first charge, provided the plan's credits have not been substantially used. This applies to your initial subscription only.
  • Cancellations: you can cancel at any time from your Billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and you keep access until then. We do not automatically refund or pro-rate the unused part of a billing period.
  • Renewals: recurring renewal charges are generally non-refundable. If a renewal charged unexpectedly, contact us promptly and we will review it in good faith.

3. Credit Purchases

Credit packs are optional one-time top-ups. Because credits are consumable digital goods that can be used immediately:

  • Used credits are non-refundable. Once credits from a pack have been spent (for example, to send campaign emails), that portion cannot be refunded.
  • Unused packs: if you purchased a credit pack in error and none of it has been used, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase.
  • Monthly plan credits are included with your subscription rather than purchased separately, so they are not independently refundable.

4. Situations That Are Not Eligible

Refunds are generally not available for:

  • Credits that have already been used.
  • Renewal charges beyond the first-subscription window.
  • Partial or unused time in a billing period after cancellation.
  • Accounts suspended or terminated for violating our Terms of Service.
  • Dissatisfaction with promotional outcomes such as email opens, clicks, downloads or reach — these depend on recipients and third parties and are not guaranteed.

5. How to Request a Refund

Email themusicalroad@gmail.com from the address on your account, with the subject line "Refund Request." Please include your account email, what you are requesting a refund for (subscription or credit pack), and the approximate date of the charge. We may review your account and credit usage to assess eligibility.

6. Processing

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method via Stripe. Once processed, funds typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. We will confirm by email when a refund has been issued.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above and apply to purchases made after the change.
